2022 Airsoft Events You Won’t Want to Miss

It’s been a crazy few years but that has stopped airsoft fanatics from going to their favorite sports. Luckily, 2022 is in only a few months – and that means a whole new slew of airsoft events for the new year.

Here are a couple you simply won’t want to miss.

Red Dawn: 3/20/22
Red Dawn, MiR Tactical’s largest airsoft event of the year, is back! No foreign force has ever occupied American soil – until now. It pitches the Occupying Soviet Forces against American forces – throwing in the epic curveball in the form of the “Wolverines,” a local militia of teens that is surprisingly good at resisting occupation.

This year’s Red Dawn promises to be everything it was in former years: patriotic, suspenseful, and fast-paced – don’t miss the ultimate showdown in Crete, Illinois on March 20, 2022.

Operation Blacklist: 4/9/22-4/10/22
Details are forthcoming on 2022’s Operation Blacklist, which pits the Coalition of the Outlander Republics Forces against the United American Entity Forces, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, over an intense two-day period.

Which side will you choose? Rebellion or loyalty? Established ideal or the new order? The choice is yours – but luckily you don’t have to make it just yet.

What you do need to do is purchase tickets – visit MiR Tactical at MiRTactical.com to learn more about the upcoming event, purchase tickets, or keep up with current events and releases.

What to Bring to Airsoft Events
Remember, what you need to bring to an airsoft event will vary considerably by the details of the event.

Camouflage, permitted airsoft guns, technology, and supporting accessories are typically closely limited by the event administrator – but regardless of the event, here are some other observations you should observe:

●Bring plenty of snacks and water – you may be able to buy them there but it’s better to be prepared.

●Carry a little bit of extra cash – hindsight is 20/20 and if you decide to buy commemorative merch last second you’ll be SOL. Also good to have spare cash just as a reserve.

●Bring a spare airsoft gun – you don’t want to find out yours is not working when it’s too late to do anything about it.

●Keep plenty of gas canisters or at least one charged spare extra battery – self-explanatory.

●Bring plenty of ammo and spare mags – only you know how much you typically burn through in a match, but we say 10,000 rounds. (Some fields only allow biodegradable BBs so make sure you’re compliant.

●Bring rain gear, especially if the event will be outside.

●Carry at least one full change of clothes (several pairs of socks are advisable, as a precaution against wet conditions).

●Comfortable boots are a must; you’ll be on your feet all day.

●A flashlight – never get caught in the dark!

●Padding clothing and personal protecting gear – including, at minimum, eye protection. Gloves and other pads are useful too.

●A first aid kit, just to be safe.
