Atlas Bipods: About the BT47-LW17 PSR - eWriterForYou - Best Guest Posting Site

Atlas Bipods: About the BT47-LW17 PSR

Atlas Bipods aim to deliver the highest performance in low-weight, high-strength, highly adjustable and modular rifle bipods.

One shining example of this is the BT47-LW17 PSR, specifically the TALL model with the ADM 170-S lever.

Designed for “precision sniper rifles” hence “PSR” in the name, this rifle bipod is compatible with standard 1913 Picatinny rails thanks to the included ADM lever.

So the bipod is easy to attach and configure, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg with respect to performance.

This Atlas Bipod is also uncompromisingly tough, made predominantly of lightweight yet corrosion resistant 6061-T6 aluminum; the inner legs are made of 7075-T6 aluminum and a mil-spec type III hard coat for wear and corrosion resistance.

On these models, the outer leg does not rotate, adding stability, and the inner legs are also stronger and reinforced.

All other stainless steel components are heat-treated for an even temper and high-strength and wear-resistance, making this one of the most physically durable rifle bipods on the market.

Like other Atlas Bipods, these are highly adjustable and modular; they offer multiple height positions and 5 leg positions – 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, and 180°. These bipods also offer 15° of pre-loaded cant and pan for adjustability, or two return the rifle to level on an uneven surface. Pan and cant can be adjusted via a knurled knob, and the bipod features UHMW components that allow for exceptionally smooth tracking.

Optional leg extensions are available which add 3” of height to these bipods, and the bipods are compatible with interchangeable feet that render it suitable for use on basically any surface. This bipod comes with standard soft rubber feet, but can be outfitted with ski, spiked, and cleated feet, as well as cleated spiked feet, for use on everything from grass and snow to gravel, soft terrain, sand, and even paved surfaces.

For all it offers, this bipod also has a surprisingly small footprint and is exceptionally low weight. Depending on settings and adjustment, the footprint will vary between 10” to 14.5” and the weight tips the scales at just 15.13 ounces, less than a pound.

While this particular bipod is designed for a Picatinny mount on a specific PSR, it is compatible with other optional mounting systems for use with Accuracy International and Sako rifles.

Additionally, like all Atlas Bipods, they are designed and manufactured in the United States, and covered by a no-fine-print lifetime warranty for peace of mind.

This short exposition only covers some of the major selling points of this particular model, but importantly, this is only one of the models in their catalog.
